Google Earth uses technology developed by UNB geodesy and geomatics engineering researchers.

UNB hockey player Rob Hennigar was named the 2007-08 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Male Athlete of the Year.

UNB professor Katherine Frego (Biology, UNB Saint John, 2008) has received a 3M National Teaching Fellowship.

Our Funding
UNB has an operating budget of $166.2 million (2009-10).
UNB awards over $5 million in scholarships annually. In 2008-09, half of all incoming high school students received a scholarship to UNB.
UNB's land endowment encompasses more than 8,000 acres of land throughout the province, with most of its property located in the Fredericton and Saint John regions.
